Lenten Reflections
Thank you to Rev. Brenda, Rev. Vivian Allen and Sis Saundra Glenn for your Lenten Season Reflections this week. We are off to a great start in doing the work to live more Christ centered lives. It's a blessing to have these reflections in email attachments that can be reviewed throughout the Lenten season.
Bloom Sessions (2 nd and 4 th Sundays)
There will be a Bloom meeting immediately following service. In addition to moving forward with developing our plans for using our gifts & talents in ministry to POP and the community, we will distribute and discuss the text, for our youth Sunday School part 2, titled Running with the Giants. Refreshments will be served.
Youth Bible Study (March 2010)
We will reinstitute our focus on training our young people in the month of March. In light of them missing their Sunday due to the snow, we will have a special youth Sunday on the 2 nd Sunday in March (3/14). Please bring & invite young people to attend this service.
Support Pastor B – Preaching Away (March 14 th & 17 th)
Please support Pastor B with your prayers and presence (if possible). She is the anniversary preacher for Dayspring Community Church on March 14 th (following our service) and the opening revivalist for Jerusalem AME Women's season on Wednesday March 17 th at 7pm.
Virtual Generation
In light of the last snowstorm and other emergencies, Pastor B is encouraging the POP family to join her and to move into the virtual generation so we can stay better connected. If any POP family member is techno savvy enough to help us with this transition to becoming comfortable with video and phone conferencing, your gifts and talents would be greatly appreciated. We will talk about this more in our next Bloom meeting next Sunday following service.
The Prince of Peace Church Family invites and encourages
you to join us in our effort to become a church
that is healing from the inside out. We give God the glory in advance for healing our minds,
our bodies, our emotions, our spirit, our finances,
our relationships and anything else
that concerns us. We pray you will soon experience the blessing of a mind
that is thinking healthy thoughts, a body that is
living in healthy ways, a spirit yielded to the
will of God, and a heart that
loves with the love of God.
God’s Healing Power
How many testimonies of healing
have been produced through your living ?
Sniffles, sneezes, scraps, scratches,
bruises, boils, fibroids, fever, fractures,
warts and whelps.
Do you have any testimonies about these?
What about surgeries, procedures and test?
You are a living testimony
of the healing power of God!
Let's continue to glorify God
for the great things
He has done in us,
with us and
through us!
