Women of Peace Book Club (July 10 th)
Reminder: the Women of Peace Bookclub meeting will be held on July 10 th. We are reading The Blessing of Brokeness by Charles Stanley.

Women’s Retreat ( July 23 – 24, 2010 )
To the women of POP, many thanks for your input regarding the upcoming retreat. Thank you Sis. Saundra Glenn for leading the effort to make this retreat even better than our first one. Sis Glenn will coordinate a final retreat meeting with the POP women before designing the final draft of the retreat agenda. Please feel free to invite other women to join us. They will have to make their own accommodation arrangements, but the retreat is free. We just need to let Saundra know how many other women are coming.

HEALTH NOTES

The Prince of Peace Church Family invites and encourages
you to join us in our effort to become a church
that is healing from the inside out.

We give God the glory in advance for healing our minds,
our bodies, our emotions, our spirit, our finances,
our relationships and anything else
that concerns us.

We pray you will soon experience the blessing of a mind
that is thinking healthy thoughts, a body that is
living in healthy ways, a spirit yielded to the
will of God, and a heart that
loves with the love of God.

HEALTHY INSPIRATIONS

Protecting Our Skin

Our skin is the largest organ of the body.
Protection is one of its primary purposes.
Two things we can do to enhance
the skin's protective nature:
use sunscreen and apply bug repellent.

Regardless of your skin color,
overexposure to the sun can be hazardous.
Applying a sunscreen with the proper SPF,
aids in reducing exposure to harmful sunrays.

After applying a sunscreen,
also consider applying a bug repellent.
Many viruses can be transmitted through bug bites.
If you have any questions,
see your dermatologist or medical doctor.

Let's stay healthy this summer.
